The front yard is the first part of our home that people see. A good lawn is what we all aspire to have, but sometimes we face a couple of challenges. If your lawn is looking a little patchy and you want to know how to fix it, then you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we are going to look at how you can use topsoil to fix any patches in your lawn.

When you have the topsoil that you need the first thing that you want to do is dump it out around the patch of missing grass. You can use a rake to ensure that the topsoil is evenly spread out and not just all in one place.

Once the topsoil is spread out you are ready to lay the seed. You may need to research how much seed you need to use because it will differ from lawn to lawn. In this final step of the process, you need to work the seed into the soil. You can do this with a rake, or any tool that you see fit. As you work the seed into the topsoil you want to make sure that it is mixing into the soil and not sitting at the surface.
