In this video, you will learn about cremation. Once you have determined that the body of your loved one is going to be cremated, or you are interested in eventually being cremated, it is a good idea to understand the process. If desired, friends and family can watch the beginning process. When the cremation chamber is ready to receive the body, the creator door opens and the casket is gently pushed into the chamber. The chamber is going to be over 800 degrees. If the casket used has a highly lacquered finish, it might ignite. A computerized system manages the process. Based on the weight of the deceased, it may take between 70 and 150 minutes. All organic material is consumed. The computer system will notify the operator when this process is complete. The operator will collect the remains. Any remaining metal components from the bone will be removed and also collected.
